Psychological Wellbeing

How to Survive and Thrive

Welcome to my site. I am a doctor of psychology and certified existential, grief & loss and health & wellbeing coach. I have been helping people to find their way through difficult times for over five years and welcome the opportunity to help you too.

Coaching

Are you struggling with a dilemma, uncertainty, an unexpected ending or loss?

Or maybe you just want your life to be different, but you’re not sure what needs to change, what to let go of and what you want to keep?

Perhaps you’re searching for a sense of wellbeing, of fulfilment, or of purpose.

Or maybe you just don’t know what it is that’s missing.

Existential coaching helps you discover how to move from where you are now to where you want to be. My role is to walk alongside you, holding space for you to explore your life in its physical, social, personal and spiritual aspects, with a specific goal or question in mind. This will help you face difficult situations with courage, be able to look at what is not working for you and create a life in which you thrive and not just survive.

If you are interested in the idea of coaching or would just like to know more about what I offer, you may like to arrange a half hour session online with me. This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other a little and for you to ask any questions you may have.

If you then decide you would like to go ahead, I offer one hour online coaching sessions provided over 6, 8 or 12 weeks, with each being one hour long and on a weekly basis. The fee for a session is £85 and I am always open to circumstances in which that fee may be varied.

Training

When people within your organisation are facing change, loss or struggling with dilemmas, they may feel anxious and uncertain. Perhaps they’re feeling stressed, worried about their psychological wellbeing or fearful of burnout. Maybe they’re worried about making mistakes, about how to create a balanced work and home life, or what their future might hold. On the other hand, people may be looking ahead and wondering how to thrive as well as how to survive the tough times.

My psychological skills programme consists of two courses:

Psychological Resilience which teaches people how to use cognitive-behavioural and other tools to build their resilience.

Psychological Wellbeing which helps to them to flourish and thrive.

These courses can each be run over a full day – this gives us time to work through the science and to take part in exercises, which provides the most comprehensive learning experience. If time is more limited, they can be run over half a day or a snapshot of the course can be provided as a lunchtime session. I have taught psychological skills to over 1000 people and received excellent feedback.

I am flexible and happy to work with whatever you would prefer in terms of teaching so you can have individualised programmes specifically designed to meet your needs, or choose programmes which have already been written and successfully taught.
